Installation

Requirements

OS	Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)
Recommended	Windows 11 22H2 or later (the bar and palette use the Mica backdrop)

Note

On Windows 10 and older Windows 11 builds, the backdrop falls back to Acrylic (frosted glass). Features are the same.

Steps

1. Download Wandeln_<version>_x64-setup.exe from the releases page.

2. Run the file. If SmartScreen shows a warning, choose More info → Run anyway.

3. Choose who to install for.

   • Just me — no administrator rights needed.
   • All users — shows a UAC prompt.

4. When setup finishes, wandeln starts and the top bar appears at the top of your screen.

Uninstalling

Uninstall Wandeln from Windows Settings › Apps › Installed apps. The items it added to File Explorer’s right-click menu are removed as well.

Settings and plugins are stored in %APPDATA%\dev.wandeln.app. Delete that folder too if you want to remove everything.
