Is wandeln available in English?
Section titled “Is wandeln available in English?”The app’s interface is currently in Japanese. The palette understands English keywords — calculator, left half, display, emoji cat and so on — so you can use it in English.
Alt + Space doesn’t open the palette
Section titled “Alt + Space doesn’t open the palette”Another app, such as a different launcher, may be using the same shortcut. Change the palette hotkey in settings.
The bar gets in the way of full-screen games or videos
Section titled “The bar gets in the way of full-screen games or videos”The bar stays behind full-screen apps. Apps that aren’t detected as full screen — some borderless windows, for example — may still overlap it.
OCR doesn’t recognize my language
Section titled “OCR doesn’t recognize my language”OCR uses the language packs installed in Windows. Check that the language is added under Settings › Time & language › Language & region.
Can I back up my settings?
Section titled “Can I back up my settings?”Yes — export and import settings to a file from the settings window. Useful when moving to a new PC.
How do I stop wandeln from starting with Windows?
Section titled “How do I stop wandeln from starting with Windows?”Turn off start-up launch in the general section of settings.
Reporting a bug
Section titled “Reporting a bug”Let us know on the GitHub releases repository. Including your Windows version and wandeln version helps a lot.
