Discord

Connect Discord to toggle mute and deafen from the top bar and see your current voice channel.

Setup

wandeln talks to Discord’s local API, which requires your own Discord application.

1. In the Discord Developer Portal, create an app with New Application. Any name is fine.
2. Under OAuth2 › Redirects, add http://localhost and save.
3. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret from the same OAuth2 page.
4. In wandeln’s settings, enable Extensions (拡張機能) › Discord and enter the Client ID and Client Secret.
5. When Discord shows an authorization prompt, click Authorize.

Note

Keep your Client Secret to yourself.

What you can do

• See mute / deafen state on the bar and click to toggle
• A voice channel popup (who’s in the channel and who’s talking)
• Toggle mute / deafen from the palette (English keywords work)

Troubleshooting

If you see “Discord に接続できません” (can’t connect to Discord), make sure the Discord desktop app is running. Discord in the browser isn’t supported.
